For as long as I can remember Black People have always been my priority. The spaces I’ve been blessed to occupy & the things & events I’ve had a part in creating have always amplified that. IYKYK. Really not new to this. 😮‍💨 . In life it’s VERY important to never forgot who brought you into the room. When @michelledalzon started @ourbomdotcom she took a chance on a lot of VERY NEW BLACK OWNED BUSINESSES, that pop up changed my life. I was going through a very tough transitional period both personally & professionally that year & that pop up put a lot of things into perspective for me & reaffirmed to me that community will show up for you & support you. For that, whenever they call, I will always show up. . @ourbomdotcom is really in a league of it’s own & @yesssshakara is really a beast at curating & customizing spaces for each business. (even from across the world 🔥) .
