What seems like a lifetime ago, over the course of 2020 we teamed up with a number of local promoters to raise money for people in need within the music scene due to lost work from the pandemic. Split over two phases, the £23k raised was split to help workers directly, but also to kick start a project that would have longevity and a positive impact on the local music scene. Proud to finally announce that the £5k that was to be targeted specifically for the phase 2 initiative is now being used to fund a music mentoring programme hosted by @levilove77 providing help and guidance but also mental health support to a gifted musician in Manchester. On top of this new journey by Levi, we also were able to provide funding to @steamradiomcr to support the growth of one of Manchester’s best local stations 💛 Thanks to everyone who was involved in helping in this journey and special shouts to @_aalice___ for helping see it through to the very end!
