#ad I had the pleasure of being featured in a piece by @GQ for @WhiteClaw about my art work and process. The idea was that they would document a day in the life of my art practice. What came out of that initial direction is a piece that really broadened itself to meet my art where it is in this exact moment. As well as capturing the ‘now’, the director was able to interpret the vision of my work for the future. One of the things I've learned about making art is that optimism is vital when creating. It is my belief that being optimistic about the work at hand carries through the finished result, helping connect the work to its intention. I love the result. It reminds me of the importance of genuinely trusting artists with whom you collaborate. I'm really looking forward to connecting with artists and the community at Pitchfork this year.
