"I’m starting to understand why are we so fascinated by things we can never touch But we can always see Like how the sky is so vast And can be seen wherever you are in the world And how the sky literally change hues as if to say, “I exist, and I will always show my true colors” Or the fact that we see the moon and the sun each day But sometimes the moon is just a sliver yet remains lustrous Or when it’s full and plump, we stop to stare in awe How about the fact that we cannot help but stop in our tracks to capture a beautiful sunrise or sunset Watching the ball of fire settle beneath the horizon to rest How about when we are sprawled on the grass pointing to the clouds that have molded into only what we’ve created in our minds So it’s true All these wonders that we cannot touch but only see The moon, the sun, the sky, and the clouds Change form and color Without hesitation But never have we second-guessed their inherent nature and beauty So why must we be so hard on each other when we change? Or perhaps when we see changes in ourselves? Or when someone changes their colors to express a feeling they’ve been afraid to convey? Let the changes and colors in your lives be bold and beautiful And maybe you’ll begin to see yourself and others the way you see the moon, the sun, the sky, and the clouds." 📸 @ann_hais
