To the sport that stole my heart from the very beginning: Gymnastics taught me how to fall and rise again. Last weekend, I raised my hand to a judge for the final time. It hasn’t been an easy journey by any means, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. I couldn’t be more thankful for the incredible people who have supported me throughout my career. To my teammates, best friends, past and present coaches, and Penn Gym, thank you for the roles you played in allowing my dream to become reality. Maddie and Alex, you’ve been my greatest cheerleaders, standing by me no matter the outcome. Mom and Dad, thank you for the countless hours you spent driving me to practice, traveling to watch me compete, and, above all, for being my rock through it all. I wouldn’t be where I am today without you all. And to the Lord, thank you for blessing me with the opportunity to do what I love for 18 unforgettable years. I leave the sport with nothing but gratitude, knowing I gave it everything and it gave me even more. Saying goodbye is never easy, but as I hang up the leotards I know gymnastics has given me the strength to take on whatever comes next. Thank you gymnastics for the journey of a lifetime🤍
