One year ago, a very talented friend of mine (@kristindohertyphotography ) encouraged me to take some maternity pictures with Beau. I wasn't planning on doing a maternity shoot. At this point in my pregnancy with the girls, I was in a lot of pain and didn't feel like myself physically or mentally. It was a roughhhh pregnancy from day 1. ...but something about this night was so magical and I am so glad I have these to look back on; mainly because these were some of the final photos with Beau before HIS world turned upside down when we brought home 2 babies. Our world quickly changed with all the beautiful chaos, but so did his. I'm proud of him. It was an adjustment, of course, but it has been so fun seeing him grow into a big brother. Ok, I'm not usually one to get sappy but sometimes you accidentally listen to a Goo Goo Dolls song and it must be done. 😂😜
