HAVE WE MET?! I’m overdue for a fresh intro, so here we go: hello, I’m Scott 👋 and I’m a Minnesota-bred Seattle-based photographer, filmmaker, and photo educator. I can’t believe I’m in my 8th year of full-time freelancing, partnering with brands like @eddiebauer and @sonyalpha (and many more) on projects, assignments, and events, and teaching photography in talks and workshops. A few random things about me: - My first creative outlet was drawing as a kid, followed by playing acoustic guitar as a high schooler. I was in a cover band (lead 🎸) back in Minnesota! - I bought my first 📷 in 2011 and started with small nature details and snapshots during travel. I took up photograpy in earnest after I first experienced the Cascades in 2013. - I had the privilege of visiting all Seven Continents 🌎in 2017. Hard to choose a favorite destination, but I adore Chamonix in summer, El Chalten in fall, and Hokkaido in winter. - I’ve recently taken up hobby bartending (just for fun/friends). Mainly whiskey and gin craft cocktails. I’d say my favorite to make/enjoy is the Vieux Carré 🥃 - Fall is my favorite season (I was born in October), so I’m excited for what’s around the corner.
