Some western trout from a few weeks ago. Caught the big buck while nymphing and a bunch of smaller fish. Then a storm front was pushing in and the air pressure changed. I ran to the truck, rigged up a streamer rod, and hooked into the big hen. I love fishing streamers before a storm front. I do believe the fish can feel the pressure change and know that there is rain coming. I feel as though they know it will rain but they aren’t sure how much it’s going to rain. So they lean on the side of caution and start feeding heavily. Just incase the stream blows out and makes feeding and visibility more difficult. That’s just my 2 cents.
