It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Manny, who crossed over the Rainbow Bridge this past Wednesday. The past two days have been a blur of grief as we’ve tried to process this tremendous loss and give ourselves time to mourn as a family. Manny was no ordinary cat. He had a soul so rare, so profound, that he didn’t just inspire us, he inspired the world. He was extraordinary in every sense of the word. Despite his remarkable strength and unwavering will to stay with us, his fragile body could no longer keep up with his boundless heart and unbreakable spirit. On Wednesday at around 11:00p.m., Manny passed peacefully in Chris’s arms. His departure was sudden and left us in shock, as just moments before, we were holding onto hope. Though we had a vet appointment scheduled, Manny’s time came quicker than we ever could have anticipated. As much as we wish we could have saved him, his soul had other plans, and we take comfort knowing his struggles are now over. From the moment we found Manny, we knew he was meant to change our lives forever. His eyes told stories that spanned lifetimes, like he had lived and endured more than we could ever imagine. He was a beacon of resilience, love, and hope a miracle wrapped in fur and courage. To our precious Manny, we are so sorry for the hard life you endured before we found each other. We wish with every fiber of our being that we could have met you sooner, loved you longer, and given you the life you deserved from the start. But in the time we did have, we hope you felt the love you deserved, the kind of love that transcends words. You changed our lives in ways we can never repay, and your legacy will live on through us, through this foundation, and through the countless lives you’ve touched. You were, and always will be, our Miracle Manny. You taught us what it means to love unconditionally and fight fearlessly.
