November 17 is World Prematurity Day! 💜 Both my daughter and I are premies, so this year is especially meaningful. Back then, we didn’t have as much of the research, progress, and advances that we have now. The medical technology that continues to save babies is incredible, and I will forever be grateful to the NICU medical team. For years now, even before our own NICU journey, we have been making monthly donations to the Calgary Health Foundation going towards NICU research and providing resources for families. If you’d like a way to celebrate and honour this day, I encourage you to make a donation to the Calgary Health Foundation going towards the NICU. We have a long journey ahead, but it’s donations like these that give premature babies a chance.
