I haven’t been able to find an easier way to say this and I put off announcing it here because it was just hard to put into words. After a progressive battle with cancer, Bennie passed away early last week. She died in my arms lying in a clover lawn surrounded by love, sunshine and birdsong. Bennie and I started this shop in 2015 when she was barely 4 years old and I was barely 22. For most of those years we worked together every day and she loved meeting and greeting everyone who came in. I always referred to her as our VP of marketing, and I really meant it. Thank you to everyone who pet her when she brought a toy to show off, she loved doing it and loved being at the shop in general. 💗
