It’s been a little over one month since the end of my R29 era and honestly, if you’d told me that talking shit on the internet and making silly little memes would turn into a full-time career, I would’ve laughed. But here we are. After 3.5 years as Refinery29’s first-ever Director of Social Media, my dream job chapter at the brand has closed. 6 fashion weeks, 3M followers, millions of TikTok views, two Met Gala red carpets, three Cowboy Carter concerts, one serenade by Mario, 5 Macro Beauty episodes, and a small-but-mighty team later—I’m walking away with nothing but gratitude 🥹 The brilliant, passionate people I’ve worked with made this ride unforgettable. The places I’ve been! The people I’ve met! The things we accomplished! Refinery29 won’t be the same without us, but all good things must come to an end.
