We are excited to introduce the Garden Educators who just joined our team! We'll post a little bit about them throughout this week so stay tuned! First up is Ileana Viramontes (she/they), who was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and grew up speaking Spanish, surrounded by a culture heavily influenced by Mexican and Chicano customs. Ileana is excited to facilitate a connection between the students and their food and environment, and recognizes the role gardening can play in maintaining a relationship with the student and their culture.
