It's been a few days since I completed my #runstreak of the 10k a day for 31 Days of Running For Justice Relay. I started the 31 days the day after Day 381 (year 2), an electrifying evening filled with energy and emotions when we ran to @10downingstreet and took a knee at the gates. We are in full swing with year 3 of the 381 Days Running For Justice Relay, but this is something I didn't envision happening when I started this campaign 797 days ago. During my 31 days of the Running For Justice Relay, there has been progress within the justice system, particularly in the US. Here are some notable things that happened during my 31-day run streak for justice. • Breonna Taylor - 4 US police officers have been charged and arrested over the murder of Breonna. • Ahmaud Arbery - 3 white men who shot Ahmuad, have been convicted and sentenced to prison. • Mark Duggan - 4th August marked 11 years since Mark Duggan was shot dead by the Met police in North London, UK. There haven't been any convictions or anyone held responsible for his death. However, there have been extensive investigations into the killing of Mark Duggan and even a recent exhibition (War Inna Babylon: The Community's Struggle for truths and Rights) in 2021 that highlighted the forensic architecture of Mark Duggan's case and the systemic racism in the UK. https://forensic-architecture.org/investigation/the-killing-of-mark-duggan Do you remember Mark Duggan's death and the unrest that followed in 2011?
