And if you don’t make time for the little things now, you might have to take time for some unwanted bigger things later.
That daily walk you take with your dog means WAY more for your health than the crazy workout you never do.
Adding a serving of veggies to most of your meals is a way more impactful nutrition strategy than cutting everything that’s less nutrient dense out of your diet.
That 5 minutes of morning meditation may not seem like much now, but a few months down the line when a really stressful event happens and you’re able to emotionally regulate better than you did before, you’ll be glad you did it.
And if you never take the damn walk because it’s not “big” enough and then you do nothing for months, maybe years, that could show up when you’re 60 and can’t chase your grandkids around the yard.
And if you never eat the veggies, maybe that shows on your lab work in 10 years with markers that could have been managed with simple lifestyle shifts that you didn’t “feel like” making when you were younger.
And if you never take the walk with your pup, maybe 20 years from now you’ll look back on pictures of them and wish you had done nothing but take them for walks and snuggle when you miss their furry faces.
And if you never take the 5 minutes to sit with your thoughts, maybe you’ll spend your whole life as prisoner to them instead.
Small choices...
... that aren’t so small 🤍
