I loved learning the ins and outs of @sundayriley’s newest launch, the CEO Afterglow Brightening Vitamin C Cream), ahead of my launch event hosting duties last month, and now that I’ve had it on hand for a good six weeks it’s about time I shared my love for it with all of you. What I love about Sunday Riley’s approach to Vitamin C, so really her entire CEO range, is that she uses an ingredient called THD Ascorbate, which is considered the “gold standard” of Vitamin C- all those beautiful brightening and antioxidant-packed benefits, without the sensitising side effects. CEO Afterglow is more of a gel cream in terms of consistency, lighter than the original CEO Rich Cream formula, so it’s beautiful for those who prefer a lighter texture (ie. those with oilier skin) and under makeup, which is how I use it. Because of that THD Ascorbate, it’s stable enough for use morning and night (I love Afterglow in the AM, Rich Cream in the PM) and it’s suitable for all skin types.
