When I heard @wandervans opened a location in Phoenix, Arizona I knew exactly how I wanted to roam the desert on my next solo roadie! 🚐 🌵 First stop: 📍Picacho Peak State Park 🎟️ Entrance fee: $7.00/per vehicle (waived when camping) 🏕️ First come first serve (or online reservations available) 🥾 Favorite trail: Sunset Vista Trail, 3.1 miles (moderate) This park was totally unplanned- but I’m so glad I stopped and stayed overnight. The campsite was really well maintained with running water & showers. I arrived too late to enjoy a hike on the Sunset Vista Trail, but sunset that evening was amazing, with views of Picacho Peak right from camp! 🤩 I had a planned itinerary, but it turns out I’ll be visiting more State Parks than planned! 🥰 Got a favorite State Park?!
