it’s always so special when my two lives of nursing and social media collide… last night I had the honor of attending the community pink party hosted by @miranda.mckeon in honor of breast cancer awareness month x @pinkaidorg ! 💘💓💕 @miranda.mckeon is a breast cancer survivor (diagnosed at age 19), influencer, and actress in nyc and most importantly, an advocate for the breast cancer community. as an operating room nurse who plays a role in lumpectomy and mastectomy procedures and sees the surgical side of breast cancer first hand, I was honored to speak with @pinkaidorg and learn how they support those diagnosed during hard times. last night I learned that breast cancer is the most expensive cancer to be diagnosed with and @pinkaidorg is working to help bring costs down for those in need most. @makelastingchange and @influencersocialresponsibility also co-hosted this event at the beautiful @shoponpickle store in the heart of the west village! thank you all for a meaningful evening and thank you @miranda.mckeon for using your platform for good! 💕💘💓
