This month is Hispanic Heritage Month, and as such, our agency would like to use this as an opportunity to showcase our Hispanic artists. Academy Award Winning Makeup Artist @sergiowastaken , created the following looks and discusses: “I’ve selected these ten images because they sum up my passion for all aspects of makeup. Early in my career I was told that I would have to choose what kind of makeup artist I wanted to be. Choose a lane and then have a career in that lane. When I was working on television, I was told I couldn’t do red carpet, when I was doing character makeup for movies, I was told I couldn’t do editorial makeup. Or that you’re either good at this type of skin tone or that one, but not both. If you’re good at beauty, how can you be good at injury and fx makeup? I rejected that notion from the get go and instead I decided to constantly change lanes, never getting too comfortable before changing again. I quietly cracked open every close door that interested me and as a result , today, I feel well rounded and more fearless... and I didn’t have to miss out on any of the fun! I am an artist and I am grateful to wake up every morning to face a new adventure! Why choose?”
