This popular kosher luncheonette is one of the few left in the city, serving up traditional Eastern European comfort food and their own delicious challah bread since 1938. The staff are really friendly, and Leo, one of the cooks, has been there for 34 years. He makes a dish called “The Leo,” which puts a Latino twist on matzo brei.
