Melting Majesty [swipe for pano] Visiting glaciers gives me strong mixed feelings. On one hand, I’m moved by their majesty and fascinated by how they‘ve shaped the surrounding land. On the other hand, glaciers have become a sad symbol of the global climate crisis. Like most glaciers around the globe, the pictured Gornerglacier is melting at an alarming rate.
