On Sunday, 5th June 2022 which is recognized as a World Environment Day, Fairmont Maldives Sirru Fen Fushi has marked this eco-friendly event by welcoming students from the local island school Afeefuhdheen. Together with our heartists and guests, students were brought to discover a newly launched Sustainability Lab and learn on how to operate the machinery, create their own bespoke souvenirs, and as well attend the master class with our Sustainability team with the main topic of importance on our environment today. As one of the first luxury hotel brands to achieve emission reduction targets, we embrace the Planet 21 initiatives developed by Accor.
