La Otra Isla 🏝 @mestizmx En esta exposición, Daniel Valero y su proyecto Mestiz, irrumpen en este territorio imaginario y plantean la isla como posibilidad; territorio creativo y productivo donde los saberes se encuentran y los objetos se reconocen. Un territorio imaginado donde el diseño da a luz a bestiarios y herbarios, que se convierten en muebles y objetos coloridos, de formas irregulares y fantasiosas que conforman un universo único, tan lúdico como irreverente. Aventurándose en el camino de un lenguaje regional amparado por las técnicas artesanales, Daniel Valero ha forjado, desde su proyecto Mestiz, repertorios ya reconocibles que habitan su isla, ese pedazo de tierra imaginaria en donde todo pasa y, gracias a la creatividad y al diseño, es posible la existencia de estos objetos. Las monumentales Deidades textiles, que cobijan, abrazan y acompaña; las mesas y bancas zoomorfas talladas en madera y laqueadas en gamas vivaces que parecieran reptar por los espacios. In this exhibition Daniel Valero and his Mestiz project, burst into this imaginary territory and pose the island as a possibility; a creative and productive territory where knowledge meets, and objects are recognized. An imagined territory where design gives birth to bestiaries and herbariums, which become colorful furniture and objects, with irregular and fanciful shapes that make up a unique universe, as playful as it is irreverent. Venturing down the path of a regional language supported by artisanal techniques, Daniel Valero has forged, from his Mestiz project, already recognizable repertoires that inhabit his island, that piece of imaginary land where everything happens and, thanks to creativity and design, the existence of these objects is possible. The monumental textile Deities, who shelter, embrace and accompany; the zoomorphic tables and benches carved in wood and lacquered in lively colors that seem to creep through the spaces.
