After you get a year (minimum) of experience, start working on YOUR terms when YOU want. You can pick up shifts when you want. With travel nursing, you still have to ‘request’ PTO and hope for the shift you want. Your whole contract can get cancelled and leave you STRANDED. You have ALL the power when working with an agency.
