Everyone's pronouns should be respected. Hard stop. 📢🗣 At PFLAG National, our staff includes their #pronouns in their email signatures, and in conversations, among other places. Why? First, and most importantly, it is a quick and easy way to vocalize inclusion as well as to support, celebrate and affirm our #transgender and #nonbinary colleagues. Second, it lets everyone we communicate with know where our values lie and that we envision an equitable, inclusive world where every LGBTQ+ person is safe, celebrated, empowered, and loved. And lastly, it can be a conversation starter that allows us to lead with our allyship and educate new and potential allies about gender identity, gender expression, and the gender spectrum.
