#MissEarth Nigeria 2022 Esther Oluwatosin Ajayi Eco-Activity: Forest Policy Seminar Last August 16, 2022, I was able to participate in the Forest Policy E-Talks 2022 of Turning the Tide: Why Mangroves Matter, where I have been immersed to the Practices and Lessons learned from the Mangrove Development and Utilization of Philippine Mangrove Eco Systems of Prieto Diaz, and Del Carmen. I have gained so much from this Forest Policy Seminar, especially when the Nigerian Goverment through the Department of Forestry, has been undertaking a Mangrove Restoration Project, known as 'Mangrove for Life', aiming to increase mangrove cover by 25% in Nigeria. This is also a way to continue the project of my Miss Earth Nigeria predecessor, the 'Plant with the Mangroves, Groove with the Mangroves' Initiative. #MissEarth2022 #MELovesFauna #LetTheEarthBreathe
