LOVE ON THE BRAIN💓🧠 I read a lot of this book on a rooftop in New Orleans ⚜️. For reasons you’ll get to know pretty soon, it was perfect — just as this was the perfect summer read. Some things I give two thumbs up: ☑️The dialogue and Bee’s mental gymnastics were A+—so hilarious and enjoyable. ☑️Rocioooooo omg she’s the April Ludgate of the BLINK project. ☑️ Um, yea, Levi and Bee get spisayyy 🔥 ☑️ When the Murphy’s Law moment happens in this book I feel it—like ahhhhhh how will this get better?!!! Then it does. Hope for the world! ☑️Multi-page declarations of love🥰🥰💕 ☑️Getting Levi’s perspective. So many times in a single perspective book I am absolutely FIENDING to know what the love interest is thinking. Ali had an ingenious way of getting a taste of that while keeping some mystery to his perspective. And now, since we all know Darcy calls the shots around here, I will insert a brief note she asked me to pass along... Meow, Humans go on and on about the wrong things. The main thing you need to know is that I was excessively diverted by the mention of a few feline characters in the book— in quite notable roles no less. So great was my excitement about this, that I was willing to briefly don the matching hat that @alihazelwood made for me and my human underling. You’ve got to acquiesce to these things every now and then so they think they have some control.
