Most disabled people find it offensive when street prayer warriors immediately assume that the prayer we need is to no longer be disabled. The whole “I’ve seen ppl get out their wheelchairs because we prayed for them and God put it on my heart for me to do the same for you.” NO! Because if God really said it he would’ve told you that I’m one of his strongest soldiers and the purpose he has for me lies in my ability to be an example that living a fruitful life with a disability is possible. Your religious ego to perform a public miracle told you to come up to me. How about you pray for the person who is battling addiction or suffering from grief or simply needs extra encouragement. But because you can’t see their battles you assume that I need prayer more than them. Plus I don’t know you and I don’t want just anyone laying hands on me. 🤣 But seriously please be aware of doing this to visibly disabled people. If you really feel compelled to pray for them ASK FIRST what they need prayer for before assuming. You might be surprised it has nothing to do with their disability. Stay prayed up everyone 🙏🏾❤️♿️
