Latino show runner @elmarvinlemus made a comment as he took his camera out to take photos as we got ready for the Hispanic Heritage award show. He said “I feel like I’m recording history” as I watched @goconstance @gloriakellett @dianamariariva and @emeraude help each other with final looks. A move of a hair strand here and perhaps a lipstick check there. We made our way down this elevator and then down these stairs. I immediately felt a big primo vibe when it came to @leerodriguez —I wanted to somehow protect her and make sure she was doing alright. I offered my arm to help as we walked down these steps. What you don’t see of course is me fangirling over these amazing people—-some are missing from the photo and when I meet you — I’ll tell you more about the others in this photo (also dream humans @thereallisavidal @eldannypino @itsmichaelcimino) @its_rubes and @sallynanez and @caaamplify were responsible for bringing us together and I’m so thankful.
