What is your biggest passion in life? ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ This is the moment that I flew half way around the world and found myself on a tiny island in the middle of the South Pacific for. To see @kelsealoha in her natural habitat, to understand what keeps bringing her back here year after year. I don’t have the words to describe what this felt like, I think I travel because I had a hard time understanding things I have never experienced. Whales fall into this category - I knew they existed, how big they were, what they looked like, what they ate and their migrations patterns. I read all of that in books when I was younger. But until I saw them with my own eyes, swam alongside them and watched their curious babies play, they were more fiction than fact. I guess what I am trying to say is that if you are lucky enough to have friends who are fiercely passionate about something - let them show you why.
