It’s out there now. My first solo release in what feels like forever. I am so happy with all the music I have lined up for the coming year. I managed to create an entire story by accident, and each song is a snap shot of moments in my life. And this one is the first chapter in a line of moments I want to share with the world. Kipcorn is a starting point. After I felt unhappy in my life with some of the choices I had made that weren’t always in my best interest there was a moment where I decided I needed to take a chance and only do what I wanted with my life. And the moment I made that decision and took a leap of faith I felt absolutely euphoric. I felt happier than ever and felt like I could take on anything I put my mind to. Obviously that didn’t magically fix everything in my life. I stil had a long way to go with figuring out what it actually was that I wanted to do. But I had faith that I would figure it out eventually and embraced the challenge with open arms. With that emotion in mind years later I wrote Kipcorn with the help of @lizzyvdherik who helped me put my thoughts and emotions into these words. And thanks to @mitchellyard with a little help of @Lucas we have turned this pivotal moment of my life into this soundtrack of my personal movie. I’m very curious to see what everybody will think of this song. It is very much my personal journey I’ll be taking you on through the next releases coming this year.
