im 23 today our country is in an active decline. our world is controlled by few who do not have care or a feel for responsibility for the rest who could never have what they do because it is quite literally impossible and unattainable. most of us, ordinary people just trying to get by like you and i, whether we are from this country or any other one *yes any other one*, deserve to turn 23. wild take i know right? everyone deserves to grow up and live happily and humanely. it makes it hard to celebrate when most people aren’t though. fights that go from side to side, from left to right, will only bounce back and forth forever with no progress. fighting upwards is the only way to prevail. your neighbor is not your enemy. NO MATTER who your neighbors are, who they love, who they voted for, what they believe, what they hold and stand for - they are still your neighbor. and if there is *any* chance we have at conquering our lives and our world back, we will all sure as hell be stronger all together getting to the top than trying to get from one side to another. there’s nothing valuable on either side. republican, democrat…it does not fucking matter. those are stupid fucking words and made up concepts that distract us while both sides pull billions of dollars and necessities entirely out of reach primarily from homeless families, from black families, from children’s safety and education in schools, from immigrants, from the rights that uphold our values and the values that uphold those rights. the powers that negate these groups of people are all of our common enemy. because we are not this capitalism. we are not this fascism. we are not ideologies. we are more valuable than this. we are people. we are strong together. praise love and praise support and praise giving and praise your fellow people please for they are all you have. stop giving a fuck. life is too short. and most people don’t get to live the life you do. so use it and fight passionately to continuously move UP. im 23 today - daniel
