Calling all planners: help a girl out!!! There are so many things we do as photographers to make sure those detail photos are PERFECT! And I mean perfect. Some things include: 1. Politely bossing people out of the area or shot. Sorry to all my caterer friends just trying to do their job. It’s me, I’m the problem! 2. Removing ugly salt/pepper shakers and butter (you know the ones you find at chain restaurants) from tight detail shots. They’re super distracting from all the pretty things! 3. Making sure candles are still lit and chairs are still straight. I’m so spoiled by my planner partners that I rarely have to think about it but sometimes a candle blows out... 4. Asking y’all what your favorite centerpiece or detail is. You are the pros!!! And it’s your work I want to show off just as much as mine for the couple. Psssttt... I ask my couples ahead of time their favorite detail 😉 5. Removing people’s bags from chairs. Guests are always sneaking in and dropping items. Please don’t be that guest I beg of you 🙏🏼 6. Making sure the lighting is as you want it! Okay so what am I missing?!? How can we be better photographers for yall??
