Despite the mud, punctures, and a crash in the mud, I really enjoyed @unboundgravel this year, even more than last year. The more the race thinned out, the more fun I had. Far more than a podium ceremony or sprint for the line, I love the moment riders commit to the group and begin to ride with purpose. That for me is always the best moment during the day. Huge congratulations to @ivar.slik for taking the win. You rode like a champ all day! @keegels99 I told you early on that you were my pick for the win, and you came close. Maybe if you’d had some music on your speaker you could have taken it! @laurens_ten_dam you are an absolute inspiration. Seeing how you raced all day was badass! I was so thrilled when you rolled back to our front group with 15 miles to go. Giving you a fist bump there will always be a highlight of this years event. @alexeyvermeulen way to keep fighting, buddy. I’m glad the tip I gave you the day before came in handy. To all the other participants, you are all the heart and soul of this event. I had more time after the race this year to hang out around the finish until late in the evening and got to see and feel all the energy and passion for bikes...what a powerful passion we all share.
