If you were lucky enough to know my grandfather, you would know how special his heart was. I genuinely would not be the person I am today without him. throughout my parents divorce, my grandparents took us in as their own. my pap and I would spend time making pickles and drinking tea. as I got older, our tea time turned into wine dates together, and I would pick him up for little dates. he was one of the most intelligent people I knew, he welcomed everyone for who they were, and he influenced all of my life decisions. he watched all my YouTube videos when he missed me, rewatching the same ones over again when he couldn’t figure out how to work the tv remote. so, I hope you’re drinking beers with big Joe and dancing up in heaven, pappy. until our next date 🤍
