I’ve been home in New Zealand for three weeks now. It hasn’t been very easy being home after such a long time. But it has given me ample time to reflect. I’ve truly begun to realize how difficult it is to break out and achieve your dreams. I’ve thought about giving up many times. This road, if you choose it, may not be the easiest. But in this difficultly I can feel a new determination being born. A release of any sort of plan b. A realization that I will get to where I want to be no matter what life throws my way. We aren’t taught how to chase our passions, start a business, network, do taxes. So we must forge our own path. and maybe that’s the best part. So if you’re someone with a dream, even if it feels impossible; remember that there is always a way. You just have to find it. I’m definitely still stumbling through the jungle of life trying to create mine. And I may have moments where it all feels too much. But then you break through one more time, and it suddenly becomes a little clearer. We’re all just winging it. Life is long. Don’t rush. Take breaks where you need to.
