All throughout June, I saw companies put up rainbows and friends & followers wearing "LOVE IS LOVE" t-shirts, supposedly celebrating us. But nearly one month has passed since June ended and there are still several states criminalizing gender-affirming healthcare for trans youth, mandating outing trans and queer kids in schools, and 18+ states that have banned trans kids from youth sports. Honestly, it’s like the world went quiet on us. Flipped a switch as soon as June ended. So when @pinkmantaray asked me to post as part of this campaign, I knew it was needed. We are still here. I said once that I didn’t want it to be a fight, it’s literally my life and my life isn’t a fight. But, I was wrong, this moment is a fight, this time where we’re living the history of LGBTQI+ discrimination and erasure. We need your help, just as much as you need ours.
