Back when I was in high school, there was a band called Lustre that released a single, amazing self-titled album. It was inspiring, and had a huge affect on me as a musician when I was just starting out. —Sadly that album can be tough to find. If you want to hear it, you need to go on YouTube and type in “Lustre 1996.” — These days, two of the members from that band (Will and Greg) play in another great band called The Feeds, along with their talented friend Paul. We all connected a few months back, and I finally got to meet them this past week when the NSP tour brought me through North Carolina. Hanging out with them meant a lot to me, and I hope more people find their music in the future. They are great guys and they deserve it!
