To walk almost 600 km over the Greenland ice sheet in -40°C with damaged toes 🥶... OR fly over the Greenland ice sheet towards +30°C with freshly pedicured toes? 💅🏼☀️🍹 That is a decision I actually had to make... It was indeed a bitter-sweet feeling to fly over the ice sheet whilst, at the same time, I should have been newly finished crossing over it. But that adventure has to wait. Unfortunately, I can't do everything at the same time, and I had to prioritise my PhD workload... But instead, another geological paradise awaits... and a slightly warmer one too 🤭🌋🌺 What would have been your decision?
