New York: Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your Attorney General for four more years. It is my profound honor to pledge my service again, and to commit to fighting for all of you. Four years ago, I made a commitment to use this office as a force for justice and to never be afraid to take on powerful forces. That’s exactly what we did. We secured $7.5 billion from those who tried to skirt the law, including over $2.5 billion from the companies responsible for the opioid crisis. We stood up to predatory landlords, fought for workers, took down dangerous gun and drug trafficking rings, and rooted out corruption. We protected access to reproductive care, took on polluters, defended vulnerable communities and the right to vote, stopped fraudulent businesses, and provided millions for affordable housing. We worked tirelessly for the people every day. As we kick off 2023 and our next term, we're focused on tackling the greatest issues impacting New Yorkers. Keeping our families safe, uplifting those who have been left out, moving our communities forward, and defending the law.
