I've been having some serious cravings lately for authentic Honduran cuisine and since there just aren't enough restaurants in my area that serve comida Catracha, I thought why not just make some at home! I've learned that the best way to keep my culture and heritage thriving in my life is to live and embrace it, even if I'm living in an area where there just aren't many Latinos! On the menu today... Sopa de Res Hondureña! This #HispanicHeritageMonth, I want to share more of the dishes I grew up loving with my husband and daughter (and the baby in the belly, too)! Food is our love language in this house and as they say "barriga llena, corazón contento", so food for the soul is #WhatIBringToTheTable here at Casa Garza! Sopa de Res is a favorite on my Honduran side of the family and sometimes we compete to see who makes it the best. With @RumbaMeats, I KNOW my sopa has the best sabór! It's a recipe I'm proud of because my Tio Cruz taught me how to make it and I plan on passing this recipe down to my girls, too! We need to keep these recipes going for future generations to come! With Beef Marrow Bones and Beef Cross-Cut Hind Shank of the best quality, I know that everyone will LOVE the unique and delicious flavor of this authentic Honduran dish! Want to get the full recipe? Visit @RumbaMeats or click the link in my bio! What's a favorite Latino dish you absolutely love and plan on passing down to the next generations to come? Let me know in a comment below!
