Wasn't a fan of Carhartt nor a big fan of 990v1, but I do have a soft spot for hairy suedes, and the arch support on V1 midsole. But perhaps without anticipation you get surprises along the way. Like most navy colorways, it looks better under daylight condition and the grey tone mesh of V1 is a charm. Swapped to the grey laces to give this pair a more consistent tone to it.
