I never really liked celebrating on “NYE”. All this hype + pressure to celebrate a year ending + new one beginning according to a patriarchal Gregorian “calendar” 🙃 The word calendar from the Latin word: Calendarium - meaning list, register, account book...😜 structure. From calendae - “the calends” day one of the Roman month, when debts were due, + accounts called in. I felt the tension on my body just writing that 😅 I feel that’s also why I struggled with NY resolutions. Don’t get me wrong, I loveee intentions + I love getting focused on specific manifestations. But something about January 1st resolutions that had me like 🥴 So, this is what I’m calling in for me this sun + lunar cycle and for this next particular “season” in my life. I’m continuing to break toxic patterns, harmful cycles. I’m continuing my healing + expansion. Focus: calling in peace + joy to support that path. Deepening that connection with myself, means deepening the connection with my intuition. Strengthening the connection to spirit.
