I don’t even know what to say to be honest. This is something I’m not sure I could’ve dreamt up. I just never had the thought. When Ebony magazine reached out to me for this cover in memory of Andre Leon Talley I was beyond honored. Andre was such an icon and what I didn’t know is he actually worked at Ebony in his early career. It all made so much sense so I had to show up for this one. I’m so grateful to have this opportunity and to have met some of the staff at the publication. The magazine is no longer in print for those asking but hopefully as Ebony and I build our relationship we can do some form of a print one day.
