Can we PLEASE debunk the myth of “dirty hair holds better” 🙄 A day old, sure. Multiple days where you can actually SEE the oil, no. OILY HAIR IS HEAVY!! And it will not hold as well. Also, if you have a bunch of dry shampoo or other product built up it can make it difficult to style. I’ve seen this SO much as a bridal stylist and it’s next to impossible to get curls to stay when someone’s hair is too oily and dry shampoo isn’t helping, then it’s completely out if my control. Please wash and blow dry your hair the night before or morning of your appt. I want your hair to look the best it possibly can!
