It felt like yesterday that we were in Louisville walking around our art exhibit and you were talking about all your photography you wanted to share with the world. We were plotting how everyone would fall in love with your current photo project and how so soon your photos would be on our walls. People could have a piece of you. Or when at any second you would do anything and everything to help me get art in the world in Atlanta, St. Louis through your family & friends ... by any means. As a cancer survivor the moment I heard about your health I called but we didn’t chat, I’m glad I connected to your lady and I was ready to go on this chemo journey with you.💓💙💓 Cancer is weird. It comes from nowhere and overtakes our physical body and sometimes it truly takes it all. I have realized life is short. Dream BIG, do everything you ever wanted and do it NOW. Who would have thought laughing in Kentucky was the last time I would see you. Don’t say “in 5 years” or “when I retire”.... Nothing is guaranteed. Paint the world how you want and be impactful about it. And do it TODAY. Live like today is the last day on earth. Because it can be. Punk Rock & Paintbrushes had a wild and beautiful journey this year and it is because of the community and friends like Scott. I am grateful. ~ Emily ☀️
