it’s the end of an era 🫶🏽 ———————————————————- I wasn’t sure if I was going to make this post, but I fear the munchkin in the last slide might be very disappointed if I didn’t. I have been in and around the world of softball for as long as I can remember. I’ve had the honor and the privilege to commentate Rambelle softball loudly and proudly for three full seasons now, and every single second has been nothing short of one of my biggest blessings. From the highs of run-rule wins, to the lows of losses, I would not have traded my experience with this team or these girls for the world. To the players: whether you are a current Rambelle, an alumni of the program and I only got to commentate you for a season or two, or the players who have turned into friends and chosen family, thank you for letting me call the sport you love so dearly. My only hope is that I have made you proud and that you look back at every random post game show or game footage with my home run calls with nothing but joy and love. The friendships that I have formed off the field with you all are honestly what have kept me going through very busy spring seasons. I am so blessed to call each and every one of you a friend. You have all impacted and shaped my life and I am proud to be an honorary Rambelle. Go kick some butt the rest of season! I’ll be cheering you on every step of the way! To the coaches and the parents who have listened to me yap for a while now: thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting me in my softball calling endeavors. Even when I messed up a play or butchered a last name; I have been known to do that a few times, you all have been nothing but supportive of me. You have loved on me in between games and have treated me like one of your own every time that I’ve seen you. To the next Rambelle softball commentator: I hope and pray that you soak in every single moment that you have with this team. Build relationships with the players, learn to love every single pitch you will call, but most importantly, have fun. It will all end way quicker than you could’ve ever imagined.
