Alright peeps! 🐥 I’ve seen tape extensions get installed a million ways over the years & I’ve tried them all and seen first hand the damage that can potentially occur. Here’s a few helpful pointers that have helped me over the years that I want to share with all of you. ❌Installing diagonally- Creates an over directed grow out that causes the extension to bubble & create tension at the top corner of the extension. That’s where the extension weight can potentially pull out your guests natural hair (Ouch!) and the extension itself won’t last as long as if you installed it horizontally. 🌟Installing horizontally- Lays the extension flat at a 0* elevation when installed properly and density guidelines are followed. The grow out is flush to the head at least with @bellamihairpro tape extensions because they are thinner and flexible and mold to the shape of your guests head because of the polyurethane on top of the mesh at the base of the extension. The extensions will last longer and be comfortable for you guest.
