K I’m gonna be cheesy/emo/whatever for a minute because I’m a mom and photographing parenthood and families is just my fav. Parenting in that first year is such a mix of emotions. You want time to slow down but you can’t wait for the future. You’re proud of all the little things they do, sometimes it makes you cry, sometimes it gives you a minor heart attack. You love them so much, but you can’t wait to get them down for a nap to catch a break, but then you miss them when they’re asleep. You’re not only watching them grow, you’re also watching yourself and your partner learn and grow, and so are they. I grow with so many families, from the second they find out they’re expecting, to when they’re finding out the gender, to when they’re ready to give birth, to birth, to the newborn stage, to their baby sitting up, to their first birthday, and so on... I watch your babies grow year after year, but I also see you, your family and your hearts all grow at the same time and I love witnessing it and I love learning from it too. So thankful to grow with you and your families, so grateful to be the one to capture those memories for those who choose me to do that for you. You have no idea how much of a blessing it is to me 🥹
