2023 has been an incredible year. God has shown his goodness in so many powerful ways, and I am incredibly grateful for every moment. This year God granted my prayers for Christian Community beyond what I can even comprehend. I’ve found some of my best friends and have had so many incredible conversations, Bible studies and moments of worship with them. This year has been full of awesome moments like being elected student body president, getting accepted into UGA, and getting to experience my last FNL with some amazing friends. This year has also had some tough moments such as losing my uncle unexpectedly. Even through this, God’s hand has been on my family and I every step of the way. His transcendent peace has been present and he has led us through. 2023 will be a year I will always remember, and it is marked by God’s overwhelming Goodness and unending Faithfulness. I’m reminded of a song called “Nothing I hold on to” that has a special place in my heart: “I lean not on my own understanding; my life is in the hands of the Maker of Heaven.” God showed off in 2023 and I’m trusting Him as I enter into 2024 with my “hands wide open”
